Shots Fired

Shots FiredIMG_2467! Last night I had plans of doing an article this morning about the event in Minnesota. I had watched the Facebook live feed several times, and was particularly taken by the woman being forced to her knees crying out about the whereabouts of her daughter after her boyfriend had been killed during a routine traffic stop. I planned to rip and tear at the police there, and compare them with the steady eye of Wyatt Earp. After last night in Dallas, you will never see that article.

Black Lives Matter does about as much good in relaxing racial tension in this country as throwing gasoline on a fire. If you will note, the march in Dallas was a peaceful one. That doesn’t surprise me. Last year, when we had the “swimming pool” scandal, complete with a pretty teenage girl in a yellow swimsuit, agitators, who came down from Chicago to orchestrate the event, saw their plans for anarchy evaporate in the Texas sun as the local teens showed more interest in summer break than sitting in the street disrupting traffic. During the Ferguson flap no Texas cities were burned, and there were no repercussions after the death of Sandra Bland. Texans simply don’t do that no matter what color they are.

Texas DID have an active KKK in time past. We have fought wars on our own ground, lived through Bonnie and Clyde, Indian raids, Waco (twice) Charles Whitman, Luby’s and Fort Hood. We are well seasoned in Tom Foolery. It is fashionable to point at Texans, the guns, the hats, the music, and allude to the population being a form of Neanderthal. What you saw in Dallas last night will show you that you need us Neanderthals!

When a Muslim kills, and Donald Trump raises the option to oust all Muslims, there is always an outcry from organizations such as C.A.I.R. citing that one person does not define an entire people. I’ll guarantee you that before the day is over you will hear Hillary Clinton suggesting that the best solution to last night’s event will be to disarm America, and most especially Texas! I want you to know that when the shots rang out last night one protester, a black Texan, immediately surrendered his AR-15 to an officer, showing he was not involved, and was not a danger. Please further note that the Dallas officer did not shoot the man, who was carrying the rifle as a demonstration of his second amendment rights, and a visual protest to the shooting of the man in Minnesota.

During the last eight years the dividing line between black and white has grown more solid. I’ve seen, and heard things that I haven’t seen or heard since I was a child in 1950’s Louisiana. Groups such as Black Lives Matter cause events that funnel people into the streets, and money into the pockets of the organizers, but they overlook one simple fact. The majority of Americans simply want to be left alone, and allowed to go about their lives in peace. They long for the day when they can teach their children that if they become lost, find a police officer, and he/she will get them home.

There will be no “race war.” In the 60’s the term “race war” was always in the air, while the bulk of America punched the time clock and went on about their business. While the image of the fire hoses still comes to mind, last night police officers died . . . protecting black protestors! Shots fired! I have a dream. I have a friend, Kent Frank’s. He’s black, and, yes, he’s a Yankee. He comes from the same era that I do. I want to meet him one day. I want to fly him to Austin and take him to a bar and grill I frequent on 6th street. My friend will not be in any danger. He will enjoy the Austin nights the same as anyone else, and maybe, just maybe, the sound of “shots fired” will become fainter, and fainter, until music is all we hear.

The Way of the Gun

The way of the gun is as American as mom’s apple pie. I read with interest the article by Bill the Butcher which compares the shootings in Orlando with the tower shootings in Texas circa 1966. It provoked thought in me for three reasons; one, all of you that read Bill’s writing know him to be a man of reason. His is the way of thought, and one may only emerge victorious from such matches as are found in contests of logic if they possess the preeminent superiority of reason. But a very few of us remember darker times in the Simple Ol’ Boy’s past. A past ruled by the way of the gun.

In those days the way of the gun was eschewed by most, but some contests were not to be won if one was not knowledgeable of that particular dark way. In reading Bills piece, I thought to detect an echo from that time. Secondly, and of greater importance to his readers, Bill made it clear that by his lights, Muslim people are prone to either forcing their ideology, or way of life if you will, on others at the point of a gun, or are instead guilty of indifference to the victims of those who do so. Lastly, by a quirk of fate, mybrother and I were both there at the hour of the shooting at the University of Texas, both of us missing a more fateful appointment by bare minutes. I would like to submit a humbler thought on the comparison made by The Butcher by the addition of two other famous Texas shooters.

The drawing of the three: roughly three years prior to Whitman’s rampage on an infamous day in November 1963 Lee Harvey Oswald fired shots from an upper floor window in the Dallas Book Depository killing one man, our president, beloved of many in this nation, and wounding Governor John Connally, feared by many of the same. His state of mind? Cold, calculating, a true shooter’s state of mind. Twenty-five years after the tower shootings a certifiably mental patient drove his car into the Luby’s Cafeteria in Killeen, Texas, and upon exiting his vehicle shot and killed 23 people. The shooter, George Hennard’s state of mind? Chaotic, fragmented, a shooter who only got his kill count by killing unarmed, helpless sheep (apologies to those who count among the lost one who was dear). In each case, it bears pointing out that the victims were unarmed, and helpless due to an unannounced attack. Kills such as these lack honor, and therein do I find the ONLY similarity. In Oswald’s case the shooter was an assassin, trained for his mission, and part of a larger plan, Oswald was doing a job. I know it, and I know Bill knows. In Whitman’s case, he was a combat seasoned veteran, but one with an awful thing growing in his head; it cannot be said that he knew what he was doing, but  Hennard did! I knew his therapist, and believe me, those who knew him best were worried about his fascination withguns, and his erratic behavior

If anyone was responsible for the shooting in Orlando, or Connecticut, or Columbine or, take your pick, it’s the police. Ever since the war on drugs our nation’s police use a template for prevention that resembles the optimism of that person ahead of you in line at the convenience store buying lottery tickets. They’ll continue to explain the logic of it well after you have lost interest. Am I bashing the cops? Well…yeah. I mean just look at the solution most of them have for mass shootings: disarm everybody. Huh? Now, I have walked the way of the gun since before I could vote. I stay hard, and I stay ready. I know that Bills reason is superior to mine, but I also know he keeps a Smith near to hand. I don’t believe the answer is the expulsion of Muslim people, nor the barring of their way to citizenship. I think rather that we should vette them more thoroughly, and watch them more closely. And, I think we should all keep our guns close, just in case.

We Don’t Need No Stinking Badges!

We don’t need no stinking badges! Funny line from a movie that got unfunny when guns began to flow across the southern border like someone was running a gun show. In September of 2009 John Dodson with the ATF stood back in snake amazement when he traced guns being given to Mexican cartels, and he subsequently became a whistle blower. This article in the New York Post detailed this so I’m not going to bore you with the taco count, just read it for yourself.

We all know the story. I even made a joke out of it when I was out in California citing that the first thing you learn in grade school if you’re a Texan is not to give guns to the Mexicans. The paradox is that Mexico has mucho gun control, unless you’re in the cartel, and then you get a pass. Mexico is a perfect example of what happens when you “regulate” guns. Ever hear the statement, “If guns are outlawed then only outlaws will have guns.” Mexico has a lot of outlaws, world class outlaws.

I find it amazing that Trump talks about securing the border, Hillary skirts the issue. Trump supports the second amendment; Hillary is very clear on her stance on gun control. Heck, her own daughter just got up, and gave a snot slinging speech on that very subject. (She has a kid? Nobody told me that.) Hillary was directly involved at a high level with the government that opened this gun running operation. Do you think she was unaware? Well, I mean, she was unaware of an attack on an embassy, and loaded up state secrets at a local McDonald’s WiFi, but c’mon! Well, Teddy Bear ran a theory by me today, and I’m going to give you the basics. Of course, I can’t tell you details because that would be, well, dangerous. I mean we know the government would never take off after someone for busting it out, right?

Hillary is all tangled up with this stuff, and when confronted, she gives that little chuckle of hers, says something clever, and moves on. The agenda is to disarm the American people. It’s as simple as that. Imagine, if you will, how many people would be flocking over that border if they were reasonably sure those ranchers down there didn’t have any guns? How much restraint do you think the cartels would show if they knew that there would be no return fire? If you believe gun control will make the border safer then I have a bridge in Laredo for you, and, as usual, it’s on sale! Shucks, I’ll just run a two for one sale.  I’ll throw in one out in El Paso for free!

I’m not going to grind out all those tired old statistics about how many people got shot, or saved someone’s life because they shot someone, what I’m drilling down on is that Hillary and company want to make us all serfs in the Clinton Dynasty, and if they get their way we’ll all “die nasty.” She portrays herself as being “of the people,” but she hasn’t been anywhere near the people since she dated Yoko Ono! How’d she spit that hook, I wonder? Speaking of dynasties, remember when I made that joke about Chelsea following her mother’s eight years in office? Well, when she got up and gave that little rant about guns I almost dropped my beer. I’m beginning to feel like a prophet.

What you have below the Mexican border is an army, ok? This army has already sent advance units into the bread basket of the US. Hillary is very aware of this, and says, or does nothing about it. Thomas More said if someone were to attack a man with a knife, and you stand there doing nothing, that indicates approval. Hillary approves of this armed invasion of the United States. Hey, jus’ sayin’. The invaders feel empowered, knowing that the Democratic front runner is looking the other way, and they don’t need no stinking badges, or citizenship, or anything. They’ve been handed a silver platter with the US served up medium rare. Mexican Silver! Adios!

The Two Weeks That Were

I missed my weekly summary last week because I was on the road so this is the TWO weeks that were. I’m up in Utah for a week or two, and I’m getting plugged into the climate, both weather wise and political. My sinuses cleared up. God, I hope I’m not allergic to Texas. I touched on something yesterday, and I’m going to start off there. In Them and Us I tried to tie in the common interests of Utah and Texas, which are profound. Brigham Young was a lot like Donald Trump. Now, the man had his ways, but he took a group of people and struck out for the desert to found a nation, and a culture, and like Texas, the LDS people are clinging to their heritage. My message was, “We are with you. You are not alone.”

Guns, Glory, and Midgets was in response to some fool who went after me on gun control. This guy was a classic, and I just couldn’t put him away. This is a real danger, people. These people are out there, and they make kids! I can’t believe that a man who thinks like this has the brain cells to power a heart and liver, but I’m not a doctor. Talk about zombie. Here it is, I say HERE IT IS!

Suspicious was actually three ideas that came together that was sent to me by Kate Beecham, Casey Nunez, and Teddy Bear. I began to see a common denominator and tied them up with a pretty bow.

The Law of the Jungle was in answer to the current rage of protesting Donald Trump’s rallies. Was it racist enough for ya? Hey, Ah’m from TEXAS, and I don’t buy into Political Correctness one little bit.

Ain’t No Run When The Rabbit’s Got The Gun was after I watched LaVoy Finicum’s daughter wipe her nose and talk about her daddy. God! I love that  kid! If you ever have any doubt about what we are up against just pull your head out of Mr. Butt, and look this little girl in the face.

Dramatic New Footage From Oregon. One picture is worth a thousand words, and this was the one picture that clearly shows a government that is out of control. The cell phone footage from inside the SUV in Oregon shows terrified people, a useless attack, and a man that was no threat to the officers. Finicum was on his way to a sheriff. Why were the Oregon State Police, and FBI so scared of a sheriff?

The Enemy Within dispels the myth of Carlos the friendly orange picker. Our borders are under attack. No other country in the world puts up with what we have going on down there, and the administration tries to make Americans who scream about it look like a bunch of irrational fanatics. Point of fact: ONE Mexican got over the White House fence and almost shut down the government. If you go to the Texas border you’d think you were at the Alamo. Yet again, Trump is on point, and keeps sticking that point to the government time, and time again.

As a complimentary piece San Jacinto Redux puts flesh on the bones of illegal immigration. My man in the street, Teddy Bear, has identified the organized effort to place not orange pickers, but soldiers in place, all over America, for the day when they rise up, with the help of the UN, and take over the country. Scary stuff if you’re not a Texan. Houston knew the remedy for the Alamo, and we know the one for this.

Thought I’d give a little lesson in politics so I wrote See Ted Run. Simple piece, really, with a simple message. Since this article, Rubio dropped out, and Cruz is jockeying for a VP slot. Times sure change fast.

Think I can’t be Politically Correct, or sanitize a piece?  I wanted so BAD to call this one Super Tuesday and Hand Jobs, but opted for Super Tuesday and Hand SIZES. No wonder the Democrats laugh at us.

Man! I didn’t even know there WAS still a KKK until I wrote David Duke. Fact: If there is still a Klan the members have to show up in their wheel chairs and oxygen, but, they still scare the pants off of “some” people. All in all, this was a dirty trick by the Dems to discredit Trump just like the guys in sheets photographed holding Trump signs. You remember those guys. The ones with the black hands?

Even though I’m not a practicing Catholic anymore I still feel the need for confession and Arrested For Driving While Blind was it. I’d love to say I made this article up, but fact is I held back because I want to continue to work for the Trib.

And that was the weeks that were. I’m on vacation, but I’ll be back in Texas soon. Hopefully the politicians will continue to provide me with subjects to expound on, and the price of whiskey doesn’t go up too much. Ya’ll be cool. Peace out!

That Was The Week That Was

Week that was this week started slow. I was battling sinus with Claritin and Aleve, and the ol’ brain wasn’t hooking up, but time marches on. I think my sinus came from a Sunday trip to San Antonio, which I detailed in The Battle of the Alamode. This had a funny, yet serious side. The antics if the grandkids were uplifting, unfortunately the United Nations had moved the Alamo to New York City or somewhere so they were deprived of that first visit. No matter, they hadn’t been taught what the building was all about anyway. I went to HEB and bought a copy of the Billy Bob Thornton movie to educate them, but the movie was overruled by “Teen Titans.”

As you know, Judge Scalia died this week. Actually, I dodged this because I couldn’t connect the dots to Texas, but eventually wrote Judge Scalia Saga when I found out that no autopsy was ordered, and Obama was being, well, Obama. Personally, I don’t see any mystery in his death, but hey folks, JFK got his head blown off in front of thousands of people and even he got an autopsy, albeit illegal because his body was spirited to DC so the CIA could set the results.

Once in a blue, blue moon I actually research a subject and try to be informative. The Great Peace was such an effort. I’ve learned that when I research a subject, and use four syllable words I fail miserably. Jus’ sayin’. All the article was saying was we, as a people, have “been there, done that.” ISIS is no crisis, and it really doesn’t matter who is in the White House, the song remains the same.

After the overwhelming success of that article I retreated to Texas subjects again, and wrote right off the top of my head. Texas Has Survived simply laid out facts that make the Yankees mad, and Texans glad. Texas is an easy subject because Norte’s are so bad. They barrel down here by the plane load just to tell us that we don’t know what we’re doing. Enjoy your brisket, gringos!

After a week of non-events, Donald Trump delivered Cruz a profound butt-stomping and I did a political article analyzing the contenders for the nomination, one not contending anymore as the Bush dynasty died nasty. Slobber and Vote wasn’t kind, but it brought things down to a manageable level with good common sense. I particularly like my last paragraph. It was apparent that the Claritin worked, and I could see my laptop again.

So, as we march toward Super Tuesday with anticipation Texas marches toward divorcing America like an unfaithful wife. I am reminded of the Talking Heads song saying, “Same as it ever was,” but liberals need “Start swimming, or they’ll sink like a stone because times they are a changing!” I get a laugh at all the Hollywood types who swear they’ll leave the US if Trump wins. I’m cool with that, just don’t come to Texas! The liberals have held sway for seven and one-half years, and as it draws to a close they are showing their colors. They put Obama in office because he’s black, and now they are trying to follow up by putting Hillary in office because she’s a woman. And they call me a racist!

In a healthy political environment you can disagree. The actual difference between a liberal and a conservative is about ten percent, but the libtards try to make it seem like conservatives are from another planet. That’s what happens when your kids don’t study the Alamo.

Pack It In Your Ass Friday

One hundred and forty five years ago some carpetbaggers decided it would be best if Texans didn’t carry guns around. Today, C. J. Grisham ascended the capitol steps in Austin in glory. They filtered in by twos and threes as the sun peeked through the clouds. It’s always windy on Capitol Hill, and in winter it can be quite crisp, but nobody seemed to mind because a victory, albeit one with conditions, was won. Texans pushed for Constitutional Carry. What they got was the licensed carry with a twist. As C. J. told the crowd, Texans got to remove one thin bit of fabric, revealing the gun on the belt.
Heretofore the gun had to be concealed, so as not to alarm the public. Some police claimed that an exposed pistol would intimidate the public, not explaining why they carried in such a fashion, but I’m just a Simple Ol’ Boy From Austin, so what do I know? The crowd gathered slowly from about 10:30 on, but at 11:00 there were up to about 500 there, all open carrying the weapons they’d hidden for so many years. At 12:00 noon, the crowd began to walk slowly to the capitol steps to serve a bit of reality on Region Seven, DPS.
Region Seven, DPS is renowned for arresting, breaking ribs, and laws, while they serve and protect us from ourselves. They seemed to be reserved today, but I guess that’s because they were not the only ones open carrying. C. J. mounted the steps and gave a talk. As he spoke, I could remember his humiliating arrest in Temple, and the long march up to Capitol Hill to win this battle. Guess he was the one they should have left alone.
I thought that this day should be Texas holiday, and since it was on New Year’s, then it would fit right in. After much consideration I came up with a name. Since we were now “packing” and the DPS was sucking it up, we should call this day, “Pack It In Your Ass Friday!” I should be poet laureate, I really should. I wanted some statistics so I took a personal poll to see how many ISIS were in the crowd. When I couldn’t find any it dawned on me that this was not a gun free zone, like a school, or Christmas party, or church. I don’t know if that had anything to do with it.
The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed! That one line perplexes the liberal mind, but I assure you that when they find themselves cringing beneath a desk as some nut pops the heads off of their co-workers they ain’t thinking about commas in the second amendment, they’re thinking about their butts! As the crowd began to work its way down Congress Avenue, I noticed that there wasn’t one drop of blood on the Capital grounds. Not one word of anger, not one altercation, not one round fired, and not one religious fanatic shouting anything about Allah! Nada! From a legless man in a wheel chair, to a mother carrying both a baby, and a gun, Sam Colt had made them all equal.
History was made today. It’s rare, but when you are it will humble you. These are just ordinary people who didn’t hide under their desks. From soldiers, to store clerks, to housewives, they all stood up and said, “Enough!” As C. J. said, we haven’t completely won, but we have begun, and each year I personally will celebrate, “Pack It In Your Ass Friday!”

Simple Ol’ Boy From Austin

I Have a Dream

I have a dream. I see an America where you can go into a restroom at any time, regardless of gender, and indulge in any act of depravity that suits your fancy, I have a dream. I envision a time when you can have relations with any person, of any sex, anywhere, anytime, and if that person is a child it will be understood that you are not diseased you are only “minor attracted,” I have a dream! A world where only the most disenfranchised, the most confused, the most sociopathic are allowed to have a gun and the rest are secure in gun free zones oh, I have a dream today.

I can clearly see a time when the Statue of Liberty will welcome the tired, the poor, the huddled masses yearning to take everything they can without even a bubble gum wrapper of paperwork allowing entry, and their culture will supplant the Constitution because a goat herder talked to some angel in a cave fourteen hundred years ago, I have a dream! I see a beautiful vision where a man is voted woman of the year, and Christian churches throw open their doors to the devil. In this brave new world the Qu’ran will be revered and the Bible will be against the law, where women wear sack cloth and high school cheer leaders are assaulted for being beautiful, oh, Lord, I have a DREAM!!

I see a world where entire cities are turned over to anyone who needs a “get out of jail free” card until those cities are degraded to the level of a war zone and no citizen is safe to even take a bus to the mall, what a glorious dream I have today. I see women being killed while having ice cream on a pier with their father and Judges at a loss trying to decide if it is a crime because the killer is not American.

In my dream I see a school system with standards so low that the Russians laugh at graduates from it who can’t even write their own names, I have a dream today. I see an economy so degraded that the Mexicans start jumping the border to get back into Mexico after they rob, rape and kill, and no man may say anything about it for fear of the god of political correctness, I have a dream today.

I dream of the day when all of God’s children, should they survive abortion, will not be judged by the content of their character, but by the content of their pocket, I have a dream. A day when they run down the middle of the street, under the Rainbow Flag screaming, “Free at Last! Free at last!” I will not be there with you. I shall not cross over. God has not chosen me. Do not be disinherited, however. I’ll be in Canada! I have a dream.

The word you’re looking for is “Facetious.”

Simple Ol’ Boy From Austin

Wailing and Gnashing of Teeth

The liberal left is amazed at Donald Trump’s rise in the polls, but it’s so simple. While the liberals have been repeating lies for six years, and Americans have had to eat them someone came along and simply said what we all believe. I shot down the race card tactic two days ago, and that in and of itself was ninety percent of the liberal argument. In all the bashing tweets that I got not one addressed any issues, not one. They zeroed in on Trump’s border comments and never even gave a tip of the hat to the fact that we need to have the same border security that all countries enjoy. Well, libtards, the party is OVER! You got your gay marriage, you got to wreck the healthcare system, and you killed more babies than two world wars. You can run along now, we’ll deal with you later, and we WILL deal with you!

If Trump doesn’t lose heart he’s going to blitz Hillary and send her home to await charges. People who don’t even like him will vote for him just to watch the fun. Can you just imagine people waving their ObamaPhones in the air, looking for a signal that’s no longer there? And liberals are all going to have to answer for their sins. There is going to be wailing, and gnashing of teeth when it all comes down because they’re going to have to go to work! As the outrage of the American people gains momentum good people will rise, and the retribution on gays, baby killers, and invaders will be terrible. The great social experiment has failed. Obama will be on the next flight back to Kenya.

People have been afraid to even speak out. That was Donald’s main gift to the American people, he spoke up! The Liberals have controlled the media, controlled the White House, controlled the courts for so long that they have created the illusion that they are a majority. Well they’re NOT! WE ARE! Look around, look at your family, would YOU kill a baby? Do you want your children or grandchildren to grow up to be gay? Do you really want to give up all hope of self defense? Of course you don’t! And liberals call us “racists!” Well, we ARE! We’ve learned to be racist about liberals over the last six years. The very idea of SCOTUS licensing sodomy. And turning the Alamo over to the UN . . . are you KIDDING me? Tearing down the Confederate flag, and running the Rainbow flag up to replace it. And THAT’S not racism? Wailing, and gnashing of teeth.

And it’s gonna be FUN! When you see a gay march, and the people show up and march BACK! When rioters start burning and looting and the PEOPLE show up with baseball bats. When a president goes through the White House door and does what he says he’ll do! America will rise. The border will be secure because people will know that it STANDS for something. Right now they look at America and all they see homosexuals and weak legislators. They think that’s US! Well that’s NOT us. The rancher in West Texas . . . that’s us. The stock broker on Wall Street . . . that’s us. The wine maker in Temecula, California . . . THAT’S US!

China’s stock market crashed yesterday, did you know that? Game over! They never had an economy anyway. Greece went broke. So what. Charge a buck to see the Parthenon. Get over it. Some thug got capped for assaulting a police officer. Good shot! Pablo hanging limp on the fence between Texas and Mexico. That’s not sex, but it’s damn close! And the majority of Americans agree with these things. They’ve just bought into the liberal lies. . . until a man stepped up last week and said, “Enough!” And it was enough. And the people cast their eyes toward the White House, and behold, the Emperor had no clothes! And began the wailing, and gnashing of teeth.

The Rainbow Flag

Did a lot of reflection this weekend. First and foremost I didn’t drink a drop. Sometimes you just gotta use the old brain if you wanna think things through. I never pull back but I sure change directions at times, redefine, appraise, and push on from there. As you know, I shifted my focus from Facebook to Twitter, and it wasn’t just Twitter, I began to flesh out WordPress, Google, and email contacts. Again, I did not “quit “Facebook,” I just reduced it to the gossip site it really was. I still answer friends, occasionally post, but I’m not going to work eight hours a day on something that simply does not work. That’s self abuse!

I come in several favors. Music, movies, TV, videos, articles and books. And I’m not kidding. I have quit good jobs to do these things, and if you’ll notice I’m still driving a Mercedes and live in three houses. I am a Texas Patriot, but I’m not a crazy Texas Patriot. Secession is sexy, but nullification works. Texas is the most successful state in the nation right now. Why leave what you can just buy? The rest of the country expects us to jump up and do something crazy, they WANT us to, and we’re more than happy to oblige.

All that having been said, the Texas movement has one problem. With the dozens of movements not ONE cooperates with the other.KC Massey is STILL in jail with no hope of bail as all the various groups squabble over his having smoked a joint! The in fighting between the Open Carry groups was epic. It speaks well of CJ Grisham that he held that mess together long enough to get ONE law passed, and even that was less than what was desired. There is no Congress for the Republic of Texas!

And all the conspiracy theories! I’ll be honest with you. I wouldn’t believe Alex Jones if he said Michael Jackson could dance! “Jade Helm is looming on the horizon, Obama has just declared martial law, just buy my water filtration system and you MAY survive!” I have seen the war against the people. I have seen my grandchildren abused by the CPS, and I know what it takes to win! It takes organization. It takes senate committee hearings where your people show up and they don’t have enough time to even hear them all. It takes people like Jim Black. It takes a TEA PARTY! That’s what it takes to win.

Donald Trump is a task master at public manipulation. He spoke for eight and one half minutes, announcing his candidacy, with only about one minute addressed Mexico and the Liberal response went off the charts! Guess the Donald must’ve struck a nerve, huh? And Rick Perry, oh don’t get me started, talking about how “offended” he was by Trump’s remarks. All them Mexicans pouring over the border for the entire TWELVE years he held office didn’t bother him a bit, now DID it? As usual Perry glommed onto a talking point. Hope he can remember his lines in his NEXT televised debate.

Hilliary is the President Designate. That’s called self promotion, folks. A great and wise philosopher, Adolf Hitler once said, “No matter how big the lie, if you keep repeating it, it will be accepted as truth!”‘ The Jews are the enemy, Hillary is the president . . . see how that works? Donald Trump is a racist, Hilliary is a woman of the people. And I’m bigger than Willie Nelson!

What I’m gonna do is double down on the facts. I’ll try to make them palatable for everyone but PEOPLE, SCOTUS just legitimized sodomy! C’mon! That’s not a conspiracy theory. You won’t believe how I’m dodging vulgarity in this article. Liberals gleaning my articles for racism while they’re waving rainbow flags. Look what the Confederate flag stood for, yeah, yeah, yeah, and look what that Rainbow flag REALLY stands for! Do you really want your kids and grand kids to accept THAT as normal? And don’t be jellyfish about it, you KNOW I’m right!

Will Trump be able to untangle the Obama mess? Not all of it. Will Hillary enhance that mess? You betcha! Will Texas Patriots continue to fight that mess? Absolutely. The only problem is when someone like Donald Trump yells, “Charge!” we can’t go off in fifty different directions because I’ll assure you the Gay, radical, illegal, left certainly will NOT!

There’s a Mad Man Down in Waco

“There’s a Madman down in Waco!” So were the words to one of David Koresh’s songs. I’m going to examine here who the mad men really were. We will examine the human mind, the events in Waco in 1993, and the facts! I’ve found that it becomes easy to ascertain facts by going backwards. You look at what you know happened, and work back from there. Where you surmise a theory, and then make it try to fit, the shoe invariably will not fit. Better to look at the end, and then try to find out how we got there. The end; the federal government burned alive eighty some odd men, women, and children in Waco on April 19, 1993. What led us to that point? How did the government, by the people, of the people, and for the people end up burning up the people?
You’ve been told that David Koresh was the fanatic leader of a cult called the Branch Davidians, camped out just off Highway 6 in Waco, Texas. You’ve been told that he was a pedophile, a terrorist, a danger to society. You’ve been told the ATF just strolled up to the door of Mount Carmel one Sunday morning to serve a warrant for some infraction involving paying a fee for certain weapons within the compound. For some reason the people inside the compound decided to declare war and take on the United States while their leader babbled insane ramblings about seven seals. You’ve been told American Idol is an honest show where the best of the best rises to the top. All of these suppositions are a lie!
First, let’s talk about religion. We all struggle with the meaning of life, why we are here, what are we doing, and where are we going when we leave here? Some people look to faith to explain this. Simple faith is a wonderful thing. Did you know that in order to properly hit a golf ball you have to imagine hitting through that ball? You have to have faith that the ball is going to fly properly and land in the middle of the green, and brothers and sisters, if you have that faith, why God will just miracle that little puppy into a par four quicker than spit! I’ve seen it done. Can I have an amen? It’s when you try to justify faith with scripture that things get tricky. The deeper one digs into scriptures the more obtuse it becomes. People get ideas of what they think the end product should be, and what started out as Jesus is coming soon ends with seven trumpets, seven seals, seven vials, seven headed horses, and a partridge in a pear tree. There’s even a pretty girl running off across the desert getting chased by a rattlesnake, and all of this fits into some grand scheme of “Jesus is coming soon,” but if any part of it doesn’t fit the walls come a tumbling down. Then comes along someone who connects all them crazy dots just a little bit better and starts a “religion.” Now, so long as Jesus is coming “soon,” and not “now,” you got no problem. Imminence is the problem. So long as the second coming is an abstract theological idea that’s all well and good, but when you become convinced that the next knock on the door is the Almighty Himself if takes on a whole new perspective. Every thought, every Bible read, every conversation adds to, and supports the anticipated event, but like I said, so long as said event is “out there,” and not “in here,” what does it hurt? Build a better house, cook a better pot of beans, BE your brother’s keeper, for you never know at what hour the Master will return.
When you have a group of people waiting for that, so long as it never comes you sell a lot of Tums to them and chuckle dryly. But, what happens when you have a knock at the door, and it’s not Jesus, but an out of control government with a whole new perspective on who the Master is? This Master won’t tolerate back talk from anyone, especially those kooks out there on Highway 6 who don’t want anything to do with them as they wait for that seventh seal to be opened ushering in the new Jerusalem, according to David Koresh 1:1! Praise the Lord, and pass the ammunition! And, we have the perfect storm of, please excuse the pun, “Biblical” proportions.
You know, the Bill of Rights is a funny thing. Fairly simple, direct, written to solidify the rights given by God to people from time immemorial, and codified by God Fearing men who had just taken on the most powerful empire in the world. Let’s start working back from there. The right of the people to bear arms shall not be infringed. Ok, the Branch Davidians were people, right. Now, it’s hard to tell after Janet Reno and Bill (send a pizza to 1600) Clinton finished cremating them, but in all appearances they were people. Consider this: If the second amendment meant what it said, could it be possible that every “gun control” law since then is illegal? You Think? Now, Google how many times the Branch Davidians attacked Waco since 1934. It is said that they failed to pay a $200 tax for a fully automatic weapon. Well, again, not constitutional, but what would the ATF do to a gun shop who didn’t pay that fee? Uh, maybe send an agent to take the license (still a crock) and MAYBE arrest the owner? So why the cattle cars at Mount Carmel that day? THERE’S your mad men down in Waco, right there!
You think David Koresh was crazy? Give a cop a set of circumstances, a study, a few bugs on a phone, a snitch, and watch out! You think the Davidian belief in the second coming was out there? Try a theory that a bunch of zoned out religious nuts making cornbread and beans are about to over throw the government, AND, they DID owe $200 for God’s sake! “Oh, Wilbur, they was little girls involved and he was a raping on them!” Uh, were those the same little girls the ATF opened fire on in the initial assault? In the next fifty days they fixed that, now didn’t they? You can get all them there raped little girls very comfortably in an ash tray! Swat them bees! I’ve spent the better part of a week studying video, and reading reports and I SAW the ATF shooting during that initial assault. I SAW them firing indiscriminately into the building with PISTOLS! Boys and girls, now I don’t want to go all Texan on you here, but them Yankee Nancy boys weren’t THAT good of a shot. There were CHILDREN in there!
The REAL problem! The Branch Davidians did not submit, nor conform. And one more thing, they really believed. It doesn’t matter if their belief was sound, they believed. Now I’m going to tell you why they died. Be prepared, you will be shocked. You will disagree, you will hate, then you will think, and cry. They died because they all believed they had to die to announce the end of the world. David Koresh suddenly realized that he, and his people would never come out, that they were to be an example to demonstrate a maniacal, out of control empire that would kill children if need be to achieve their means. Mount Carmel was the Davidian’s Garden of Gethsemane, and their beliefs would not allow them to refuse the cup. Good or bad, that’s what they held to. David and all his people knew that the United States had become corrupt and knew that if they stood up that seventh seal would be opened and you would see the “beast” for what it really was because those FBI, Cops, ATF, and all the rest would KILL those children before they would relinquish one iota of power back to the people! They made the free choice to drink the cup of poison. They KNEW that they had done no wrong. What if there had been no raid? What if David had just been arrested at Walmart? Why the attack? I’ll tell you why. Maybe that “Beast” David saw was real. Maybe that beast was intolerant of everything not conforming with its abomination. It would have been more convenient to just cut Jesus’ head off the night before as King Herod had done to John the Baptist, but a crucifixion would send a clear message to anyone out there who was of the same mind as the itinerant Rabbi from Nazareth.
There were mad men in Waco that day. They made sure the ashes of Mount Carmel would never be sifted. They made sure the truth would never be known, but there is one truth. For all the rhetoric, all the talk, all the spin, could it be that David Koresh was more afraid of his God, than he was the ATF? And those mad men. . . they’re still among us, and we still have to finish the job. Perhaps the seventh seal David warned us about has been opened, and with all we are seeing now, Ruby Ridge, Mount Carmel, ISIS, Ebola, and all the rest, is the result of that seal. The lies are ever present. Wanna see one? Consider this; If the government is of the people, by the people, and for the people, why did it become status quo that only the government has the right to have to bear ceertain arms that the people can never have? At that point the government ceases to be the servant, and becomes the master. You only need superior weapons when confronting an enemy, or a slave! Where is your freedom of religion when the government can decide who can marry whom. Where’s your separation of church and state now? How private is your property when long after you own it you must still pay the King’s ransom to keep it? And your freedom of speech? Tell that to the kid thrown out of school because he said he didn’t like the president. All these questions smolder in the ashes of Mount Carmel.
Think about this; What if that “beast” raises its head again, and this time the people also raise their heads, and twenty or thirty truckloads of militia come over the hill to confront the AFT, FBI, CPS, and all the other S’s. What then? Oh, you say that won’t work, the government will just bring more and more, until it enforces the “law?” Well, friend, if you accept that, then we are truly lost! Here’s YOUR cup of poison.
