The Principle

“Then the glory of the Lord departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims. And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight”

Parties are born, they grow old, and die, but the principle behind the Party can never die, and lends its light to a party only so long as the party obeys the principle. The rebirth of an eternal truth is blazing. It seems to have a life of its own. The founding of the United States was like that. What the American Revolution was about wasn’t so much the advent of new ideas as the profound preservation of old ideas, understood by statesmen, and thinkers from far back in history. The understanding that people are born with a right to live simply by virtue of having been born, and that each should live their lives happily without destroying the happiness of those around them. These things came from something other than ourselves, something pre-existent, call it God, or the universe, or whatever, I call it the principle. These were the ideas that drove the revolution and cumulated into the Bill of Rights, where they were recognized, not formed. It was the principle.

The universe is built on opposites. Night turns into day. Mountains crumble into the sea. For all matter there is an equal and opposite anti-matter. For every principle given by that creation there is a force designed to tear it down, or dilute it, and that’s good, because that’s what reinforces, and makes it stronger! Light will always dispel the darkness. A party, such as the Republican Party is only a vehicle through which the principle can be expounded. It cannot create it, it cannot destroy it, it can only obey it, and when it ceases to do that, then the principle will destroy the party, and that’s exactly what is happening to the Republican Party right now!

The right to marry and have children, the principle. The idea of like marrying like, NOT the principle. The right to conceive a child, the principle. The theory that the child has no right to life before physical birth, NOT! To try to confound the simple purity of the principle is the definition of evil. The principle gathers and sustains, any effort to explain away, or ignore is in stark contrast. With the principle there is no right and wrong there just IS! The more you try to rationalize the more the principle condemns you.

The Republican Party was born to free slaves, and in its old age is enslaving everyone. It has abandoned the principle. Now the principle will abandon the party. The reaction of the entire leadership of the Republican Party to Donald Trump is a sign that this is so. For too long we conservatives have struggled to work within the confines of the party, knowing that it had moved left of center, but afraid to speak out because we recognized the power of it and without even the illusion of what the party used to stand for the alternative was unthinkable. The only thing left that the party can use as a threat is if Trump is allowed to continue it will destroy the party and the Democrats will run full tilt to finish the demolition of the constitution. The party has completely abandoned the principle and now seeks survival, nothing more. Donald Trump was sent to destroy the Republican Party.

After the Party is gone the principle will remain. The Party didn’t create the principle, it only recognized it. As liberalism filtered in the principle left the party. It didn’t fade, it didn’t become politically correct, it left! Donald Trump displayed it to the Party, but by this time the Republican leadership had become so depraved it could not tolerate the light. Now, Trump is not Jesus, but the dynamics of what you see is almost exactly what happened in Jerusalem when Jesus confronted the Pharisees who had been in bed with the Romans so long they’d forgotten why they were even there. The politics were much more important than the laws Moses had handed down to them, the laws they were sworn to uphold. Forty years later the Romans tired of these spineless fools and dispensed with them, and their entire nation. The principle had left them. You can see parallels all over this. McCain, Chiapas. Obama, Caesar. Pilate, Rick Perry. There is nothing new under the sun. The principle does not forgive, and it does not forget.

Will the United States survive? It doesn’t matter. Will the Republican Party survive? It didn’t! It’s been dead a long time. Jesus could raise the dead, but He can’t raise the Republican Party, and neither can Donald Trump. The United States is just a land mass with a particular government. When that government falls, and it surely will, another will replace it, the land mass will remain the same, and a few men and women will come together and rediscover the Principle, the rights of the people, and it’ll all begin again. Jesus told us to know the signs. Donald Trump is a sign. Some people hold his wealth against him, but could it be that he was placed in a position of wealth for precisely this reason, to display the principle? I can’t predict the future, I’m nowhere near a prophet, just a simple old boy from Austin pointing out the obvious. When the scales fall from you eyes you’ll see it too.

Math Class!

Ok, MATH class! What do you have when a bunch of people say they like a guy, and he bubbles to the top of the charts, but a “party” says they don’t approve, and don’t want him in a political race because he’s not following the party line? Ok, that would be a plutocracy. What do you call the other people running for the same office, who say that this man does not represent the party, and side up with the opposing party to condemn him? Well, those would be RINOs, folks! What you have right now is a bunch of presidential wannabes all lined up like the Rock-ettes, dancing in the Emperor’s new clothes.

The hypocrisy is so blatant in the Republican Party it makes Obama look like Andy Griffith. All Donald Trump said is that we don’t need people jumping the border five times and shooting pretty girls on the dock of San Francisco. Seems pretty straight up to me. Now, I’m just a simple old boy from Austin, but how any politician can object to that is well beyond my understanding. The PEOPLE say, “Hell yeah,” and the party says, “Hell no!” THIS is what is wrong with you’re government, people!

I expect the Democrats to be stupid, but there was always a part of me that believed the Republican Party was, well, REPUBLICAN! On the side of expanding commerce, the Bill of Rights, God, mom, and home made apple pie. Man! Don’t buy a used car from, these guys! Want to know what I think? I think that somewhere in the Capitol building there’s a crack house. Has to be! That’s the only thing that would explain what comes out of there, but I imagined that in the upper chambers sound men and women had their hand on the throttle, and their eye on the goal. Nope! That’s a whorehouse. They will lay down in front of the democrats for any price.

And along comes Trump and tells them what they don’t want to hear. And Rick Perry, don’t get me started, waving his sterling record on the border. After twelve years we were lucky he didn’t deed the Alamo back to Mexico City. Obama is currently back in Kenya visiting family so you KNOW where he stands on the border . . . the SOUTH side!

If Donald Trump has the overwhelming support of the people, and the party squashes his run it will expose the fundamental flaw in the American political system and if you don’t see that have I got a bridge for YOU! If the party turns, and supports him it will be the first time in YEARS a non-politician, non-lawyer, successful business man will walk into the White House. Bruce Gender will NOT be at the inaugural ball.

The Rainbow Flag

Did a lot of reflection this weekend. First and foremost I didn’t drink a drop. Sometimes you just gotta use the old brain if you wanna think things through. I never pull back but I sure change directions at times, redefine, appraise, and push on from there. As you know, I shifted my focus from Facebook to Twitter, and it wasn’t just Twitter, I began to flesh out WordPress, Google, and email contacts. Again, I did not “quit “Facebook,” I just reduced it to the gossip site it really was. I still answer friends, occasionally post, but I’m not going to work eight hours a day on something that simply does not work. That’s self abuse!

I come in several favors. Music, movies, TV, videos, articles and books. And I’m not kidding. I have quit good jobs to do these things, and if you’ll notice I’m still driving a Mercedes and live in three houses. I am a Texas Patriot, but I’m not a crazy Texas Patriot. Secession is sexy, but nullification works. Texas is the most successful state in the nation right now. Why leave what you can just buy? The rest of the country expects us to jump up and do something crazy, they WANT us to, and we’re more than happy to oblige.

All that having been said, the Texas movement has one problem. With the dozens of movements not ONE cooperates with the other.KC Massey is STILL in jail with no hope of bail as all the various groups squabble over his having smoked a joint! The in fighting between the Open Carry groups was epic. It speaks well of CJ Grisham that he held that mess together long enough to get ONE law passed, and even that was less than what was desired. There is no Congress for the Republic of Texas!

And all the conspiracy theories! I’ll be honest with you. I wouldn’t believe Alex Jones if he said Michael Jackson could dance! “Jade Helm is looming on the horizon, Obama has just declared martial law, just buy my water filtration system and you MAY survive!” I have seen the war against the people. I have seen my grandchildren abused by the CPS, and I know what it takes to win! It takes organization. It takes senate committee hearings where your people show up and they don’t have enough time to even hear them all. It takes people like Jim Black. It takes a TEA PARTY! That’s what it takes to win.

Donald Trump is a task master at public manipulation. He spoke for eight and one half minutes, announcing his candidacy, with only about one minute addressed Mexico and the Liberal response went off the charts! Guess the Donald must’ve struck a nerve, huh? And Rick Perry, oh don’t get me started, talking about how “offended” he was by Trump’s remarks. All them Mexicans pouring over the border for the entire TWELVE years he held office didn’t bother him a bit, now DID it? As usual Perry glommed onto a talking point. Hope he can remember his lines in his NEXT televised debate.

Hilliary is the President Designate. That’s called self promotion, folks. A great and wise philosopher, Adolf Hitler once said, “No matter how big the lie, if you keep repeating it, it will be accepted as truth!”‘ The Jews are the enemy, Hillary is the president . . . see how that works? Donald Trump is a racist, Hilliary is a woman of the people. And I’m bigger than Willie Nelson!

What I’m gonna do is double down on the facts. I’ll try to make them palatable for everyone but PEOPLE, SCOTUS just legitimized sodomy! C’mon! That’s not a conspiracy theory. You won’t believe how I’m dodging vulgarity in this article. Liberals gleaning my articles for racism while they’re waving rainbow flags. Look what the Confederate flag stood for, yeah, yeah, yeah, and look what that Rainbow flag REALLY stands for! Do you really want your kids and grand kids to accept THAT as normal? And don’t be jellyfish about it, you KNOW I’m right!

Will Trump be able to untangle the Obama mess? Not all of it. Will Hillary enhance that mess? You betcha! Will Texas Patriots continue to fight that mess? Absolutely. The only problem is when someone like Donald Trump yells, “Charge!” we can’t go off in fifty different directions because I’ll assure you the Gay, radical, illegal, left certainly will NOT!

Out Yankee the Yankees

Time for a little reality check. There is a difference between the Republic of Texas and Texas independence. Write that down, there will be a quiz. The Republic of Texas was born, and died in the 1800s, but the idea of Texas independence from the dog and pony show that calls itself the (Dis) United States in a living, breathing entity. Texas is, and has always been separate from the United States. The differences between Texas and the other so-called states who prostitute themselves before the Fed are many. Money flows OUT of Texas. Other states line up with their hands out for their daily bread. The Federal Reserve writes them a hot check, calls it money, and they go home with a big, goofy smile on their faces. Texas has industry. This is true because we’re taking it from all the Blue states who are working day and night to destroy opportunity. Rick Perry, RICK PERRY, for God’s sake, played California like a drunken prom queen, and corporations beat feet for Austin quicker than a dog will chase a cat.

Texas has oil. I know there are some people over yonder who would disagree, but Texas, Canada, and Mexico could smoke OPEC in a New York minute, and that’s a short minute folks. Fun fact: Arabs do not build ANYTHING! They drive OUR cars, watch OUR TVs, and wipe with OUR Charming! Ok, they have oil. Go tell the Chinese. If Texas had its way it would shut off the port of Houston to all Arab oil and we’d all be better off for it. So why isn’t Texas a Republic again?

We are not a republic out loud because if we leave the United States would have to declare war on us as a matter of survival. They are broke. They are printing currency that even the Mexicans laugh at. We hold them up. As long as we feed the beast it will allow us to plan. The independence of Texas is very important. If we don’t survive and grow the United States will dry up and blow away. The US is that unemployed brother in law living in our back bedroom. We don’t like it, but our wife won’t let us throw him out. So we hunker down and pay his child support.

What we need to do is maintain our liberty, and at least some measure of distance from all these welfare babies for their good as much as ours. They’ve lost it, and like a record made of wax, it ain’t never coming back. If we secede the will attack us. They have to. If we continue to placate them with bread and circuses they will drink the Kool Aid. The object of the game is for Texas to grow as America shrinks. Texas has all the marks of a true republic but we have to keep them laughing until they are in so deep there is no hope of ever infringing upon our sovereignty again. Then they can call it anything they want it will BE independence. That’s what we all really want. We want a Texas that simply ignores Washington. Just look at them. They are seriously considering running a woman for their president who has more scandals than all the communist counties combined. A secretary of state who couldn’t even take a phone call to defend her own embassy, but, what does it matter? They voted in their last president based solely on his complexion. And they call US racist! Need I go on?

We need to reform the body that was attacked in Bryan and work to make it a viable force against Yankee influence within our borders. We need to put militia on the border and stem the tide of filibusters streaming over in defiance of our sovereignty. We need to push back on the FBI, CIA, NSA, and all other alien interests in Texas. We need to tell our sheriffs to step up to the plate and BE sheriffs! Most of all we need to become independent minded. A defacto Republic of Texas. A dream that never really died, but evolved as we figured out how to out Yankee the Yankees. The quiz? Which side of Travis’ line do YOU stand on?

Still Crazy After All These Years

With midterm elections over it’s time to look to the future and address issues that have been cropping up here and there. First a little personal business, which I never do but you gotta air the laundry sometime. As a lot of you know we fought an epic battle with the CPS over my grand kids. I will NOT bore you with the details because they are boring. Suffice to say it destroyed our business, cost us a couple million, and in the end our family was scattered to the wind, BUT the babies are safe, and after several name changes they are growing up within the family. It cost us something else. Jackie went to ground exactly like she said she’d do, and I had to divorce my wife of thirty years to satisfy the CPS’ ego. My now ex-wife gave her business, her homes and her health to save the babies. She has suffered three heart attacks due to this pressure, surviving the latest two days ago. The good news is things are looking good. The family came together in support from all over the world, all but our little Jackie, but we respect her absence, and strength. She really did stand at the gates of the Alamo, and from her ashes a Phoenix rose. Sometimes all a person has to offer is their blood, and the little Jew from Detroit gave all.

Now to elections. I supported Kathie Glass. I knew from the beginning that a win was not in the cards, but once you are in the presence of Jackie, standing beside Kathie is easy! Now that it’s over I can speak freely. Kathie had some good ideas. I spoke with her one on one. Her problem was the Libertarian party. How can I put this? Let me see. Ok, the Libertarian party is as crazy as a fart in a hurricane. That about sums it up. The Gay Alliance shattered any semblance of unity like glass. There was a movement at the convention to vote NOTA, none of the above. I said it then, and I say it now, why drive all, that way, spend all, those hours, and all that money, to walk out of the convention with no candidate? And I listened to all these seasoned Libertarians telling me all about this NOTA crap, but, as always, I’m just a simple ol’ boy from Austin and that don’t make no SENSE!

There were improprieties at the convention. Candidates not eligible, candidates with warrants, and candidates laying in fields of blue bonnets with their butts sticking up in the air. (And they call ME Weird Wilbur!) There was no unity or purpose. Kathie took the nomination, but what did she get? She got NO support from the party as individual members pursued their various windmills. Well, it’s over, we lost, and we’re “Still crazy after all these years!” (You can swat them bees now.)

I did not agree with Kathie not supporting Doc Greene after his remarks on the gay lifestyle. I would have stood with him. He hated the sin while loving the sinner. I heard the broadcast. I read the transcript. That lifestyle is dangerous. It IS irregular. I’m not sucking up, but I don’t pick friends based on their sexuality. And I’m not a liberal. I just don’t have time for it. Doc stood by Kathie even after he stepped down from his position with the party. I respect that. I didn’t voice my opinion because we we fighting for a win, or at least a “show” in the horse race of politics. Well, we got that “show.” We showed our butts! I stayed in for the long haul, but I am no longer a Libertarian.

Now for a final feature. I missed the Doc Greene show yesterday, but I was on Mikee Bee’s show last night and from what I gathered there was a point of contention in the Raging Elephants chat room yesterday. I understand all positions. Mikee perceived statements as being told how to think. Doc’s position was a vote, so matter how hopeless, is still a vote. As I said on the show last night I hope all parties can meet on middle ground and work it all out.

One thing you must remember is the Apostle Claver runs this deal. It was his idea, his inspiration and his plan to change the demographics of the Republican Party to include more black people who have been mislead and double crossed by the Democrats. That’s the core of Raging Elephants. There are dozens of side issues, but that’s the purpose of the broadcasts. If the public likes the content the station will succeed. If not, change the format. It’s as simple as that.

So, finally, we are stuck with Abbott. (This is my surprised face.) Political realities. You need a unified party to win, and Texas women will not support baby killing whores no matter how “in” they come across. We still have a border problem. People are still in prison for smoking a joint, and the DPS is still ignoring the Texas constitution, marching to the beat of its own drummer. We have work to do! Usually I try to inject a little humor. Sorry I’m not very funny today, but did you hear the one about the two Rabbis walking into a bar with a alligator on a leash?

We’ll Take Our Star, You Can Keep The Change

I’ve said many times that Texas isn’t southern, it isn’t western, Texas is TEXAS! Being a Texan is not a fad, it’s a FACT! The Texan culture has been molded my a very unique set of circumstances that occurred nowhere else in the world. With Anglo influences, Spanish, Chinese, and God knows how many others, the Texas blend is the Mulligan stew of society. People who came to Texas quickly realized that it was an entirely new deal. While New York and Boston could separate into different groups and form ethnic clans, Texans just didn’t have that luxury. Life down here was just too hard!

The Alamo reflected this diversity very well. While John Wayne made a good Davy Crockett, where were the Chinese in that film? They were there, too, you know? And all but one Mexican, Juan Seguin, was portrayed as being in Santa Anna’s army. Americans like to say their county is a “melting pot” of different cultures, well Texas is a chili!

Texans get along because we HAVE to get along. Our only choice is do that or to be like the Nortés and God knows we don’t need that! Example, OTHER states have an opinion about our approach to gay rights. Texans don’t have a problem at all. We only have a problem with outsiders trying to tell us what our opinions should be, and how we are SUPPOSED to feel, react, or legislate. Americans try to view Texas through prejudicial glasses that long ago became fogged. I was down at the Domaine in Austin yesterday, and saw two lesbians crossing the street, on the way to a pub. My only thought was one of them was VERY cute. That’s TEXAN! I can out court any lesbian!

And this black thing. What it that? The Yankees can’t run Detroit. We run Austin just fine, and brothers and sisters, there are black people in Austin. I’ve SEEN them! The border? Ok, New York look what you’ve got for borders. More YANKEES! That and some Canadians. Oh, don’t get me started. We have four states, a country and an ocean to watch. You got Canadians? We’ve got Mexicans. WILD Mexicans. We have Cartels. We NEED Cartels to keep all you hop heads in supply! You sent us Ebola, well guess what? We ain’t got no more Ebola! You have DOCTORS spreading it all over Central Park, and a deranged nurse riding her bike all over town like, she’s got good sense. To quote an old Indian proverb, “White man CRAZY!”

And guns! Ever notice how guns are everywhere? New York has gun control. So does California. California gave us Charles Dorner, and New York, the greatest Mafia the world has ever seen. We We just say if guns are everywhere just let everyone have one. Your Homeland security buys over a billion bullets and you say we’re ou of step because we include the option of shooting BACK! You give up all your rights, buy oil from your enemies, and allow private banks to print hot checks, call it money and you say WE’RE crazy? You can’t control ISIS. We CAUGHT ours! If ISIS went to messing around with the Cartel’s trade you would see THEIR heads cut off and mounted on overpasses on the border. Hey, even a stopped watch is right twice a day.

Texas is TEXAS, Nortés are Nortés, and never the two shall meet. Why do we want to secede? We want to secede because we’ve BEEN gone. We’d just like to finalize the divorce and move on. The spirit of Texas will not allow Yankee think to infiltrate and corrupt as it has every where else in the world. Don’t think this is real. Ask yourself, why does the Texas flag fly on a different pole? Other state flags fly below the Stars and Stripes. The Lone Star look it in the eye! And that’s LONE star! We’ll take our star back. You can keep the change!

The United States of TEXAS

The United States of TEXAS

Governor Perry went to Japan this week, and he gave a speech which began with, “Texas is not a nation.” What is a nation? The definition has been refined until nations look like the serving line at McDonalds. With well defined borders, except when it comes to Texas, they seem to have overlooked that one, an official language, oops, and people that pretty much look alike, struck out on that one too. Ok, let’s start over. A nation is a bunch of people who think they’re running the show. There!

Texas has always run its own show. That’s what makes us stand out. The very fact that Perry, a lame duck governor, was even IN Japan at all to speak is proof that the world sees the United States, and then they see Texas, and never the two will mix. Our flag is recognized all over the world and the reputation of Texans is famous. Even Billy the Kid surrendered like a school girl when Pat Garrett called out to him saying he had one hundred and fifty TEXANS with him. The battle of the Alamo showed Texan resolve, and the inability to count to five thousand. There was some idiot on Doc Greene’s morning show yesterday going on about the “union” and preserving it, and we’re all Americans. Well, I’m not an American, I’m a Texan and want very little to do with anything dreamed up by a bunch of Yankees. Now, some,of those Yankees were good. They weren’t born in Texas, but they got here as fast as they could.

Texas always has been, and always will be independent. All the other states are just states. A bunch of one hit wonders. Take Idaho for instance. Their license plates had the term, “Famous Potatoes,” on it. We have, “Remember the Alamo!” What have they got? “Remember the potatoes?” And California! Oh, don’t get me started. Now Cali is diverse, I’ll give you that, but it’s just plain weird out there. You know it’s true. Think of the last five really weird things you read in the news and take a look at where MOST of it came from. And now it’s fashionable to use the term, “California Republic!” Where did THAT come from. You are a republic when you kick another country’s butt and parade its president under an oak tree like a …well, I won’t say that bad word. Let’s just say, “Female Dog,” ok? Anyway, we DID that!

I’ve used the term Republic of Texas de facto before. What that means, simply put is if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and looks like a duck, then it MUST be a duck. Texas has always marched to the beat of its own drummer. We now send so much money to the US it’s beginning to look like foreign aid to a banana republic. QUACK!

So, I came up with a solution to all of these problems. First, we move the Capitol of the United States to Austin. Our building is taller than theirs anyway, and it’s not surrounded by a slum. Then we change the national anthem to “The Eyes of Texas Are Upon You.” It’s a better song and has a pertinent message. You have keep an eye on them Yankees all the time. We also need to pull all the troops out of the Middle East and bring them home. We’re going to need them…to invade Mexico. I’m so sick and tired of seeing hordes of people flowing north across the border. Time we reversed that, and see how they like it. It’ll be easy. Ain’t nobody down there but the help.

I guess if he’s still in office we’ll probably have to bring Obama down here, but we won’t let him run the government. We can put him in charge of Thundercloud Subs IF he doesn’t try to turn it into a rib joint. Make Eric Holder a border patrol guard. Give him a good look at all those guns he ran to the cartels. Now Hillary’s not in office right now but idle hands are the Devil’s tools so we can just fire the Chicken Ranch back up and put her in charge of that. She can bring Bill along too.

And Governor Perry. He looks good. Can’t remember his lines too well, but we got TelePrompTers for that. Remember Vince? You know, “Follow me camera guy.” Well Rick can do that really good. “I’m gonna take your water fund and flush it down the toilette. Are you with me camera guy?”

We can rock along like that for say, fifty years. Run the whole shebang from sixth street, basically. Steal all their money, wreck their health care, put ’em all on food stamps and we won’t HAVE to secede from the Yankees. They’ll secede from US!

The Pot Calling The Kettle Black

The Pot Calling The Kettle Black

Years ago my business partner, W C Dorrill, told me, “Be sure your sins will find you out.” I think that’s been my motto ever since. When I launched my series of articles concerning Rosemary Lehmberg it was not because I am a sterling example you would want to hold up before your children. Far from it. It was because I’m the one person in Texas who can fly in her face and not fear any repercussions. In former times I would be referred to as a drunken asshole. Now I’m the “Most Interesting Man In Texas.” She thinks she can drink? –>I<– can drink! After forty-two years in country music, at the publishing level, I have out drank many folks at parties and done things that would make a sailor blush with shame. I'm lucky my ass isn't in jail! I've become a Mexican citizen, bootlegged Coors beer from Burnet to Killeen for the city council, coyoted illegals across the border, worked in strip clubs, been a bag man for gangsters, and have enough ex-wives to start a softball team. If you want to dig dirt on me you'd better bring a dump truck. But the one thing I've never done is fill an elected position and betray the people's trust by portraying myself as an upstanding American and champion of the truth!

Remember when Jesus was listing sins? What was the last thing he said that day? "…as are all LIARS!" Peter hung his head in the boat that night and said, "Be thou far from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man!" But he wasn't a liar. Rosemary Lehmberg is a liar! And she can't sue me because she'd have to go into court and prove she's not a liar. And what makes it bad for her to have me on her ass is that I understand her world. I'm not the pot calling the kettle black, I'm the pot calling the kettle OUT!

Rick Perry has his faults, but one of those faults is NOT tooling down a bike path with a blood-alcohol level of 2.39! That, and he was perfectly within his rights to veto anything he wasn't comfortable with. His logic was simple. "You are on a committee to oversee the ethics of other people and you have NO ethics! Not to mention the track record of that group leaves a little to be desired. Case in point, Tom Delay!

The appellate court in September 2013 tossed a high-profile jury verdict, ruling that "the evidence was legally insufficient to sustain DeLay's convictions." In a dissent, the lone Democrat on the three-judge panel argued the evidence for a conviction was sufficient enough to convince a rational jury that criminal conduct had taken place.

Notice the dissenting judge was a democrat! And this is how they roll, folks. That "ethics" group was squarely behind the DeLay fiasco. The main problem with Rick Perry and his veto had nothing to do with a woman who betrayed the public trust, it rested solely upon the fact that Rick is a republican! Maybe we need to have two governors. One for the democrats, and one for the republicans. Oh, my bad…THREE! One for AUSTIN democrats. There. That's better.

This is really not about Lehmberg's drinking. It's about her complete lack of discretion. Rick Perry's abuse of power? How about a district attorney stumbling across a line, trying to stay on her feet, asking the officers HOLDING HER UP if they knew who she was? How's THAT for abuse of power? Now I'm not going to speculate on things, but I'd like you to ask yourself; what do you think Rick Perry would have done in that same situation?

We all make mistakes. We have all fallen short of the glory. What you do after you fall is the measure of your character. Rosemary Lehmberg is sadly lacking in what it takes to serve the people of Texas. Notice I did NOT say America because they have Obama and don't get me started.
